ABOUT THE DESIGNER

A native to the Washington DC area, Victoria Sanchez has been designing interiors for over twenty-five years. With a strong interest in decorating from an early age, Victoria has turned her passion into her profession.

Victoria specializes in full service design projects frequently working in the early phases of construction until the last detail is in place. Her ability to lead teams of craftspeople to execute her designs has led to many beautiful interiors. Victoria has a talent to combine a myriad of colors, unlimited patterns and various finishes together while respecting design principles such as balance, proportion scale and unity.

Victoria is currently working on projects ranging from a high-end contemporary residence at the Turnberry Towers in Rosslyn, Virginia and also Arts and Crafts styled home at the Homestead Resort in Warm Springs, Virginia.

Victoria's work has been showcased in numerous area show houses including several with the National Symphony Orchestra, Washington Design Centers Design House, Historical Society of Talbot County and others. Southern Accents, Washington Home and Design, Better Homes and Gardens and the Washington Post have also featured her work.

Educated at Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, Victoria has continued her education and is finishing her Master of Arts in Interior Design. She is a professional member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Along with managing her own design firm, Victoria teaches interior design at local colleges.
