Taylor Wells
A native of Maryland, Taylor Wells has been in the design field for fourteen years. In 1990, after renovating the interior of a classically designed 1920's post office, he opened Taylor Wells Antiques. The antique business expanded to include interior design in 1994. In 2005 he opened At Home in Lewes in Lewes, Delaware specializing in casual furnishing, antiques and accessories for the beach and city as well as interior design consultation for the beach community. His design style, inspired by his love for antiques, is the careful blending of traditional and contemporary furnishings. Mr. Wells has participated in several Decorator Show Houses including Washington, Baltimore, Talbot County and the Design Center.
Nancy Colbert
For over 25 years, Nancy Colbert, NCIDQ has been an interior design professional in the Mid-Atlantic region (Washington/Virginia corridor). With work experience in the retail, corporate and residential design sectors, Colbert knows the design business from the inside out. Her residential portfolio is extensive and includes urban pied-a-terres, condominiums, suburban homes, and weekend retreats. With her eye for quality, knack for translating client dreams into timeless environments, and unstinting professionalism, Colbert is often referred to as a "designer's designer" by peers and clients.
Known for livable rooms that seamlessly integrate architecture and interior design, Colbert's signature style combines classic beauty and contemporary comfort. Her rooms are elegant and always original. And her skilled use of space, materials, color and furnishings always produce sophisticated and refined rooms.
While Colbert, knows that "getting the bones right" is a critical step on design projects, she strongly believes that good design solutions are the result of teamwork—ongoing communication between the client and designer. Colbert and her team of professionals do not have a one size fits all approach. They have the know-how, creativity, and sensitivity to always produce results reflecting the needs and tastes of each client.
Colbert is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Colbert has been a member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) for more than twenty years, and is NCIDQ certified. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Washington Metro Chapter of ASID. Colbert's work has been featured in the NSO Show Houses 2000, 2001 and 2005. She received the Elizabeth Warnock Prize for Excellence in the Decorative Arts for her work on the NSO Show House 2000.
Victoria Neale
Victoria Neale has been featured by Southern Accents magazine in their annual feature "4 Under 40". She has also been selected as one of the top 125 designers in the US by House Beautiful Magazine. Her work has been featured in magazines and books, including Southern Accents, House Beautiful, Home & Design Magazine, and Spectacular Homes of Greater Washington, DC.
Based in Washington, DC and focusing on residential design, Ms. Neale has clients in DC, the Maryland and Virginia suburbs, and projects in Florida, Boston, and elsewhere. "My clients laugh when I say this, but one of my strongest beliefs is the house will tell you what it wants. Paying attention to the architecture and listening to the clients guides the design – from furniture layout to style to color."
Focusing on the house and clients means that each project is unique. Always present, though, are confident use of color, a mix of expected and unexpected elements, and attention to detail.
After earning a BA in Economics from Davidson College and spending seven years in the corporate world in banking and marketing with Wachovia Bank, Victoria Neale returned to school at FIDER-accredited Winthrop University for a second degree in Interior Design, graduating with a 4.0 average. She relocated to Washington, DC and worked with prominent designers before starting Victoria Neale Interiors, LLC in 1999.

Modern or traditional, she creates rooms that combine her reverence for light and space with a sense of hospitality and pure comfort. A Michael room is guaranteed to make you smile, beckon you to dream in an inviting nook or catch you by surprise with a bit of whimsy.
